Intellectual Property & DMCA Policy
Effective August 16, 2026 · Elite 3D Labs LLC
Your models stay yours
You keep all rights in any model you upload. We claim no ownership. We use your file only to quote and produce the order you placed, and we do not print it for anyone else, publish it, or share it.
What you are promising us
By uploading a file, you confirm that you either:
- Created the model yourself; or
- Own the rights to it; or
- Have permission from the rights holder to have it printed — including any commercial-use permission if you intend to resell the printed part; or
- The model is public domain or licensed in a way that permits what you are asking us to do.
Many free models are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Having us print one for you commercially may breach that license. Checking is your responsibility, not ours, but if we notice we will tell you.
What we will not print
We decline files that are obviously counterfeit, that reproduce a trademark in a way likely to mislead, or that we have been notified infringe someone's rights. See also our Acceptable Use Policy.
DMCA takedown notice
If you believe a model has been submitted to us in violation of your copyright, send a written notice to elite3dlabs@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice", including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — an order number if you have one.
- Your address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
On receiving a valid notice we will remove the material, halt any associated order, and notify the customer who submitted it.
Counter-notice
If you believe your material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of customers who repeatedly submit infringing material.
Designs we make for you
When we design or scan something for you as a paid service, the finished design is yours once the job is paid. You receive the print-ready STL and the editable STEP file, and we do not sell, publish or reuse it.
Our own designs
Products we design and sell in our shop, along with this site's text, photographs, logo and the Elite 3D Labs name, are our property. Buying a printed part does not transfer any rights in the underlying design, and does not grant permission to reproduce or resell it.
