Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026 · Elite 3D Labs LLC

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. We have tried to describe how the site actually works rather than reserve every right we could.

What we collect

  • Order information — name, email address, shipping address and phone number when you place an order. We need these to make and deliver your order.
  • Uploaded models — any 3D file you upload for a quote, plus the geometry we measure from it (volume, dimensions, estimated print time).
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security, fraud prevention and rate limiting.
  • Correspondence — messages you send us and our replies.

What we never collect

We never see or store your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and PayPal on their own systems. Your card details do not pass through our servers at any point. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, plus the last four digits and card brand for your receipt.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, US state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include showing personalised advertising. Whenever we run Google AdSense, we treat our advertising as "sharing" under those laws, and you can opt out at any time using Your Privacy Choices in the footer of any page.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, roughly where they are in the world, and where they arrived from. When we show advertising, we use Google AdSense, and only on content pages.

Both set cookies and both involve Google receiving your IP address and activity on this site. Google may use that information to personalise the ads you see, unless you tell us not to.

Nothing from Google runs on any page where you are paying. Analytics and advertising are both switched off on the cart, checkout and order pages. This is deliberate: card-skimming attacks work by compromising a script that a payment page already loads, so the safest payment page is one that loads nothing it does not strictly need.

Advertising is switched off in more places still — the quote tool, your account and these policy pages. Analytics does run on the quote tool, so that we can tell whether it is working for people, but your model file is measured in your own browser and is not uploaded at that stage.

We have configured Google Analytics not to use your data for Google's own advertising personalisation, and advertising identifiers are redacted while you have not consented.

You control this in three ways:

  • The cookie banner shown on your first visit — accept all, analytics only, or reject all.
  • Your Privacy Choices in the footer, at any time afterwards.
  • Google's own controls at My Ad Center and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

If you are in the UK, EU, EEA or Switzerland, nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies runs until you agree. If you take no action, the answer is treated as no.

Your uploaded models

Files you upload are stored in private encrypted storage. They are not publicly accessible and are not indexed by search engines. We access them only to quote and produce your order.

We do not sell, share, redistribute or print your model for anyone else. Your file remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and no license beyond what is necessary to produce the order you placed.

Uploaded files for orders that are never completed are deleted automatically after 90 days. Files for completed orders are also kept for 90 days after the order completes, so we can reprint on request, and are then deleted. You may ask us to delete a file at any time by emailing us, and we will do it whether or not the 90 days have passed.

How long we keep technical data

Failed sign-in attempts to our staff area are recorded with the IP address they came from. This is what lets us lock out password guessing. Those records are deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Rate limiting counts requests per IP address for up to one minute at a time. Those counters expire on their own and are never written to our database.

Reports from your browser about blocked content on our site record only which security rule was triggered and which page of ours you were on. They do not include your IP address, your browser, or anything that identifies you.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers required to run the business, and only the minimum each one needs:

  • Stripe and PayPal — payment processing and sales tax calculation.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, storage and security. This includes Turnstile, the check on our contact form that tells a person from an automated script. It looks at your browser and your IP address to make that judgement. It is not a CAPTCHA, it does not track you across other websites, and for most people it never asks you to do anything.
  • Resend — delivering email: messages you send through our contact form (your name, email address and message) to our inbox, and order emails to you.
  • USPS, UPS or FedEx — shipping address, to deliver your order.
  • Google — analytics (Google Analytics 4) and, when we run advertising, AdSense. Google receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site, and device and browser information. It does not receive your name, email, shipping address, order contents or uploaded files, and it receives nothing at all from our cart, checkout or order pages.

We will also disclose information if legally required to do so by a valid court order or subpoena.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for your cart, your session and security (CSRF protection), and — with your agreement — analytics and advertising cookies set by Google. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and what each one does.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to retain certain order and tax records despite a deletion request, as required by law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, email customers with an active order.
