Terms of Service

Effective August 16, 2026 · Elite 3D Labs LLC

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Elite 3D Labs LLC ("Elite 3D Labs", "we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. A contract forms only when we confirm your order in writing. We may decline any order for any lawful reason, including files that violate our Acceptable Use Policy, orders we lack capacity to produce, or suspected fraud.

2. Custom print quotes

Quotes generated by our online tool are estimates based on automated analysis of the file you upload. They are not final until we review your order.

When you check out on a custom order, your payment method is authorized but not charged. We then review your model. One of three things happens:

  • We approve it — the authorization is captured, you are charged the quoted amount, and we begin printing.
  • We need to revise the quote — we contact you with the revised price and the reason. Nothing is charged unless you accept.
  • We decline it — the authorization is released and you are charged nothing.

Authorizations that we do not act on are released automatically, normally within 7 days, depending on your bank.

3. Your responsibility for files you upload

You represent that you own the model you upload or have the right to have it printed. You are responsible for the design itself — including whether it is fit for its intended use. See our IP & DMCA Policy.

4. The nature of 3D printing

FDM 3D printing has inherent characteristics you should expect:

  • Visible layer lines. This is normal and is not a defect.
  • Dimensional tolerance of approximately ±0.5 mm, or ±0.5% on larger parts. If your part must fit something precisely, tell us before ordering.
  • Minor color variation between production batches of filament.
  • Marks where support material was attached, on surfaces that required support.
  • Printed parts are anisotropic — they are weaker along the layer direction than across it.

We orient and print parts using our judgement unless you specify otherwise in writing.

5. Not for critical applications

Unless we have agreed otherwise in a signed written agreement, parts we supply are not intended for and must not be used in: load-bearing structural applications, medical or dental devices, firearms or firearm components, aerospace or automotive safety-critical components, food or drink contact in ongoing use, or any application where failure could cause injury, death or significant property damage.

6. Pricing, tax and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and is added to your total. Payment processing costs are included in the displayed item price rather than added as a separate surcharge.

We may correct pricing errors. If a price was obviously wrong we will contact you before charging, and you may cancel.

7. Turnaround

Lead times are estimates in good faith, not guarantees, and depend on queue depth and print duration. We will tell you promptly if your order will be materially delayed.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Mexico law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits or loss of use.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of that State.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order governs that order.
